Charity & Volunteering

In 2022 we are proud to be working with The Cheshire Community Foundation

In 2022 the local community fund will be used to support projects including young children through educational initiatives, health and well being charities. With this years fund we have decided to work with Cheshire Community Foundation (CCF). This will help us focus on supporting the causes in the local community that really need funding, support our responsible business goals and give us the opportunity to review our social impact, in greater detail.

Use the link above to find out more about the great work that CCF do.

Each member of the team here at Storengy UK, has the option to use a CSR/ Volunteering day to support a local charity of their choosing. The team have so far helped out at The Samaritans, The woodland Trust, The Salvation Army and The Toy Appeal Knutsford and Chester Aid to the Homeless.

We painted at Winsford Youth and Community Forum they are currently having some renovation works to improve their facilities so the team were happy to lend a hand painting the entrance foyer.

Volunteering at Mere Brow Farm

The team had a great day using their volunteering day to help out at Mere Brow Farm.

The farm provide an education experience in sustainability and permaculture for young children. Their aim is to create an ecological system that is fun, educational, productive, diverse and sustainable with a combination of mixed woodland, orchard, hedging and edible forest. They needed our help to improve the long term fertility of the land by mulching the land.
