Storengy is leading the way in decarbonising the natural gas we use for power generating and heating. One option is to look at the generation of Biogas and hence Biomethane to replace the Natural Gas we currently use. ENGIE has a portfolio of nearly 80 projects, supporting its aim of producing 5 TWh/year of Biomethane by 2030. Storengy owns 50% of Engie Biogas and acquired Vol-V Biomasse in Rennes and Rouen. Seven units are in operation and three are being built. To complement this activity in France we are now looking at taking our first steps in the UK. Watch this space for future developments.
